Hi — I’m Kathy Santos. I’m a retired webmaster, which has supported my photography habit.
I currently shoot with a Canon 90D, a Google Pixel 7 Pro, and a DJI Mini 3 drone. I’ve had a variety of digital and film cameras in the past, and I’ve scanned some of my slides and negatives.
I like to travel, and I tend to shoot subjects that highlight the uniqueness of the places I visit — the things that I want to remember about them, the stories I want to be able to tell.
I try to take one or two photography tours or workshops every year, and I sometimes teach photo composition and an introduction to the technical bits of photography — ISO, shutter speed, f/stop and depth of field.
I’ve occasionally shot professionally — weddings, portraits — but that takes all the fun out of it for me, so I try not to.
