Dr. Krefting is highly regarded by both her peers and her patients for her combination of gentleness with technical excellence. Decades of experience, continual training in the latest dental procedures and technologies and dedication to dental care with comfort, kindness and respect, enable her to provide each patient with personalized attention and outstanding treatment.

Dr. Krefting earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa majoring in psychology and biology, and doing research in analytical chemistry and behavioral genetics.

After a year of research in internal medicine, she returned to sweet home Chicago and completed a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University.

Dr. Jan Krefting  has been a dentist in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire for over 2 decades, and was once again named one of New Hampshire’s Top Dentists for 2016.

Dr. Krefting has 5 children, including an adopted son from Sudan, and one grandchild. She is involved in many charitable activities.
